Where are you located?

You can find us at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, located 8 miles south of Whalebone Junction on NC 12 at the north end of the Oregon Inlet Bridge in the beautiful Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Centrally located between Corolla and Hatteras North Carolina. We're just 1 1/2 hours by car from Norfolk, Virginia; 3 1/2 hours from Richmond, Virginia; only 5 hours from Washington, D.C and only 3 hours from Raleigh, NC.

How do I book a charter?

You can book by calling us at (252) 216-8840 or by checking availability and completing our online form. You can also book a charter by calling Oregon Inlet Fishing Center at (800) 272-5199. Make sure you ask to book Full Draw Charters. A $500 deposit is required if you book through the captain or $927.50 if you book through Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Deposits are accepted by personal check to the captain or by Visa/MasterCard to Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Final payment is due the day of the trip and can be made by cash or credit card. Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the day of your trip to receive a full refund. Cancellations due to bad weather will be refunded or rebooked as you wish.

How much does it cost?

Offshore rates out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center are $1,800 per day cash price or $1855 credit card price. This charter fee includes all licenses, ice, bait and tackle. Rates assumes from one to six persons per charter. Make up charters (for parties less than six) are often available. Contact us if you are interested.

How much do we tip the mate?

It is customary to tip your mate 15-20%. His hard work makes your day a success.

How many people can come?

Full Draw Charters is Coast Guard approved for up to six guests.

What time do we leave and when do we return?

Usual departure time is 5:30am. Usual returning time is 4:30pm.

What do I need to bring?

We provide all tackle, lures, ice and bait. Your provide your own food and drinks. You do not need a fishing license. Bring your camera and any personal care items you may need such as sunscreen.

Can I get my fish cleaned, frozen, shipped, mounted etc?

Fish cleaning, freezing, storage and taxidermy are available at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center for a per pound charge.
